The 33rd session of the Human Rights Council (HRC) wrapped up today! Throughout the month, the Council considered a wealth of issues: rights of Indigenous People, Youth and Human Rights, Human Rights situation in Syria, Burundi and Central African Republic.

At this session, the Council adopted 40 resolutions, 22 by consensus and 18 by vote.

On 26-27 September 2016, representatives from seventeen United Nations Associations met in Brussels, Belgium, on the occasion of WFUNA's annual meeting of European United Nations Associations. Hosted by the United Nations Regional Information Center (UNRIC), the meeting brought together UNA delegations from Europe to discuss issues and projects of common interest.

Monday - The UN and Multilateralism

On our first day of Advanced Training Program at the UN, Aziel Goulandris, our Education Officer, introduced WFUNA and its work to our group of 41 participants. This introductory session was followed by a UN guided tour.

NEW YORK, NY - The Mission Possible international conference at UN Headquarters in New York brought together students from two different schools in Hyderabad, Meridian Banjara Hills and Gitanjali Senior School, who are just finishing up the very first year of Mission Possible, a global citizenship education program for high school students.
