WFUNA hosted a delegation of seven prominent academics from the Research Center of the United Nations and International Organizations at the Beijing Foreign Studies University. Among those coming to NY were the Director of the Research Center, the Director of Beijing Foreign Studies University Board, and senior Professors of the University.
They arrived on 16 August and depart next week from Washington DC. Their study trip is aimed at learning how China can better engage with the work of International Organizations, particularly the UN. WFUNA was able to facilitate many briefings for the delegation from various UN agencies and civil society.
