The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) was proud to host a delegation from the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) from 26-30 November 2018. Sixteen deans, chancellors, and other officials from higher-education institutions visited New York for WFUNA’s Leadership Training Program (LTP). The delegation met with representatives from United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), UNESCO, the United Nations Alliance of Civilisations (UNAOC), and the UN Global Compact. The program included workshops on leadership, building high-performing teams, emotional intelligence, empathetic, and improvisation. In addition to the skils-building workshops, the delegation also learned about the decision-making proceses of the UN and the Sustainable Development Goals. The LTP is one of a number of planned programs which fall under a signed MOU between between WFUNA and AUAP.
