Freedom from Violence: UNA-Armenia

The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) is a global nonprofit organization representing and coordinating a membership of over 100 national United Nations Associations.

“In the light of the MDG’s outcomes and evaluation the provision of the peaceful environment should be a must to flatten. We call all the Member States to express their political will to achieve the consensus on the 'peaceful' post-2015. In this regards we call our partners and colleagues around the world to raise awareness on the importance of peace in the Post-2015 as a formula of our common progress.” UNA-Armenia’s submission for the UN PGA Stocktaking Event on #‎post2015, 2014

UNA-Armenia seeks to increase knowledge and awareness for integrating peace, security, and conflict prevention within the post-2015 development framework on a local and international level. With the aims of developing a powerful and youth driven voice in civil society, the academic community, and expanding media coverage and the political discourse, UNA-Armenia has been working hard to create a platform to influence the UN in its policy making process regarding the Post-2015 development framework.
