UNA-Slovenia organizes its fourth summer school entitled “Empowering the Environment.”

The Summer School will be attended by young activists aged between 18 and 30 years. It will be held in Ljubljana between 22 and 26 August 2016.

The conference will address current global issues concerning the environment. It will present environmental dimension of 2030 development agenda, and reflect on pollution and waste-management. Faced with complex multi-sectoral crises, the summer school will focus on deconstruction of environmental problems to the pure essence of theirs.

There is no participation fee. The organizers will provide accommodation, food and free transportation around Ljubljana. Unfortunately there are no scholarships for travelling expenses available.

Young volunteers and activists are invited to apply. Deadline for application is 10 August 2016. The number of participants is limited; applicants will be notified about the selection by 12 August 2016.
