Draft Resolution Form - PA41

The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) is a global nonprofit organization representing and coordinating a membership of over 100 national United Nations Associations.

Please use this form to submit a draft resolution for consideration at the 41st Plenary Assembly, which will adopt resolutions on issues of interest to the membership of WFUNA. Resolutions should aim to be realistic, non-partisan, balanced, and actionable.

The process for submitting and considering draft resolutions will be conducted in accordance with Articles 8 and 16 in the Constitution and Rule 8 of the By-Laws. Early submission of this form will facilitate dialogue on the issues to be raised at the Plenary Assembly. The draft text can be used as the basis for discussion and possible negotiation of the proposed resolutions. If you would like the Secretariat to duplicate and include your draft resolution in the Plenary binder, this form must reach us by 30 October 2015.

As you draft your resolution for the Plenary Assembly, remember to use concise and effective language. An ideal word count for a draft resolution would be maximum 300. You may use the following as an EXAMPLE.
