Celebration of UN Day 2008: UNA-Sudan organized in collaboration with Khartoum State Government and UNMIS the Official Celebration of UN Day 2008, Khartoum/ Sudan. The events took place on Oct. 23rd in Khartoum State Headquarter and attended by Ms. Amira Haq , Special Representative of SG, Federal Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Representative of the Governor of Khartoum State , UN Agencies representatives in Sudan , Ambassadors and official guests from different departments in Sudan .The next day Oct. 24th , 2008 UNA-Sudan organized in collaboration with UNMIS, UNIC and Omdurman Sons Forum the Popular Celebration of UN Day 2008 in Omdurman ( one of the major traditional city in Khartoum State ) . The festival attended by representatives of different civil society organizations, UN representatives and staff and people of Omdurman.
