Dear United Nations Associations,
UNA-Brazil would like to invite you all to participate at the Model UN to be held between July 17th - 21st, 2005, in the capital of Brazil - Brasília, which will be co-organized by the Americas Model United Nations and the Brazilian Research Center on Foreign Relations (CEBRI).
AMUN is the most traditional Model UN's in Brazil and has joined UNA-Brazil and CEBRI to provide you the best model experience we can possibly offer. 500 students will take part in this huge event, comprising not only ten different committees but also parallel activities for cultural integration between the participants, such as the Cultural Night and the Post Conference Trip.
UNAs will have priority in country assignments and UNA delegates will participate in workshops with UNESCO experts, organizers of AMUN and prominent personalities to understand the importance and the difficulties of implementing a model. Our intention is to provide you with the necessary means that will allow you to establish or to assist you in improving your own models. An exclusive meeting between the UNA representative to discuss more specific topics of our concerns is also being planned. UNA-Brazil would like to have your suggestions on these topics.
I am sure all delegates will have an outstanding cultural integration experience at AMUN. I hope you can confirm your presence to UNA-Brazil in the next days, so that we know in advanced how many UNAs indeed intend to participate, and register at AMUN's website (www.amun.org.br ) for country assignments until April 29th (please note that it is very important to identify yourselves in the field "institution" of the registration sheet as UNAs, so that AMUN can give you high priority).
I put myself at your disposal should you need any further assistance.
Best regards,
Thiago L. Fernandes
