- Published a Children’s Encyclopedia on the United Nations
- Delegation of the UNA-Russia actively participated and distributed UN reports in the World Summit on Sustainable Development (2002)
- On 27 May, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) MFA RF hosted the award ceremony for the winners of the annual essay contest held by the University and the UNA-Russia. The contest judges, international experts from MFA RF, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and UNA-Russia, emphasized youth awareness of UN issues, including the Millennium Development Goals.
