About Partnership

The Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect's mission is to advance the Responsibility to Protect principle within the Asia-Pacific Region and worldwide, and support the building of capacity to protect populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity.

About Partnership

WFUNA and APCEIU will work together in promoting Global Citizenship Education (GCED) in the various areas, including collaboration in organizing UN and UNESCO meetings, workshops and seminars on GCED, mutual assistance in the youth programmes for promotion of GCED and overall cooperation on the areas as agreed upon.

Best Delegate has been an important partner in organizing and implementing WFUNA's Youth Forum and Youth Camp initiatives in the Republic of Korea since 2013. The organization also became involved with the WFUNA International Model United Nations (WIMUN) program upon it's inception in 2014, and has continued to play a key role ever since.

The Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations (CoNGO) is an independent, international, non-profit membership association of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that shares WFUNA's mission of giving civil society a voice at the United Nations. CoNGO does so by facilitating the participation of NGOs in United Nations debates and decision-making processes.

WFUNA leadership has a strong collaborative relationship with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and his Executive Office; the two meet regularly and work together on issues critical to the United Nations and the greater international community.

WFUNA's partnership with the Federation of Korean Industries allows us to provide Korean students with scholarships to attend educational trainings on UN principles and practices, thereby empowering them to better engage with critical issues in international development and international affairs.

The Challenges Forum is a strategic and dynamic platform for constructive dialogue among leading policymakers, practitioners and academics on key issues and developments in peace operations. It is a global network of Partners representing 47 peace operations organizations and departments from 22 countries.Through this new partnership, WFUNA will continue to explore ways to further involve civil society in the work of UN Peace Operations, with a special focus on ensuring the active participation of youth in future events.

The International Youth Organization for Iberoamerica (OIJ for its acronym in Spanish) is an international organization that brings together the Ministries of Youth of Iberoamerica with the aim of working towards the inclusion and integration of young people through youth public policies.

The organization is comprised of 21 countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Uruguay and Venezuela.

In 2017, WFUNA and ThinkBank formed a strategic partnership to further develop Youth Training Program at the United Nations: China, an educational program that promotes the effective participation of High School students in the work of the United Nations by equipping them with a solid understanding of critical international issues and helping them to find ways they can contribute to furthering the goals of the United Nations in their home country. The Training Programs at the UN, of which YTP is a part, is an educational program which promotes the effective partication of youth in the work of the United Nations, which Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon has declared critical to the success of the Sustainable Development Goals and 2030 Agenda, while also equipping them with skills critical to academic success, such as research, teamwork, and public speaking.
