From June 6 - 8, WFUNA's office in Geneva conducted the Workshop at the UN: India part of our Youth Training Program on the UN with students from three different high schools in India and in collaboration with our national UNA: IFUNA. During this three-day program, 37 students participated in different activities involving topics such as multilateralism, trade and humanitarian issues.

In March 2018, WFUNA welcomed Isabelle Tibi as the new lead of the Mission Possible program. Shortly after joining, Isabelle visited Mission Possible in India and Singapore to connect with participating students, teachers and school leaders, as well as with our National Program Coordinators, Soujanya Ganig and Kanchana Varatharajalu.

Geneva, Switzerland - WFUNA hosted its second Youth Training Program: Greece from March 19 - 23 in Geneva for 31 students from Hellenic-American Educational Foundation in Athens.

The week was divided into four categories: 1. Multilateralism, Peace and Security 2. Multilateralism, Sustainable Development, 3. Humanitarian Affairs and Human Rights and 4. Career Development. Participants were briefed by speakers from the Greek Mission, US Mission, UPR Info, OCHA, UNHCR and IOM.

From February 8 to 11, 2018, the largest WFUNA International Model United Nations (WIMUN) conference yet was held in New York at UN Headquarters bringing together over 1000 faculty advisors, delegates, and secretariat members from 67 countries.

From February 5 - 9, 2018, WFUNA's ASDG Entrepreneurship Program took place with 19 university students in New York. Organized in partnership with Yonsei University, the SEP program is designed to provide training in skills such as communications, leadership, creativity, problem-solving as well as academic knowledge. These students worked on implementing campaigns on the topic of "Creating businesses with a Social and Environmental purpose" and ultimately accelerating the achievement of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

From January 29 to February 2, WFUNA's office in New York hosted an Advanced Training at the UN, organized in partnership with Think Bank, with 15 university and high school students. The group travelled to Washington, DC to visit various international organizations and NGOs, including the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, Organization of American states, International Labor Organization, European Union and Centre for Strategic and International Studies.

At the beginning of February, WFUNA's office in Geneva hosted twenty students from Kyung Hee University for an Advanced Training Program on the UN. During this week-long program, students participated in different activities involving topics such as multilateralism, trade and development, human rights and humanitarian issues, and a day focused on their career development in an international environment.

In mid-February, 15 high school and university students attended a Youth Training Program at the UN in Geneva. Through a collaboration with ThinkBank International, WFUNA hosted these bright students and offered a tailored program that involved the UN modalities, sustainable development, trade, humanitarian issues and career development.
