April 24, 2017 -  WFUNA was represented by Megan Wilhelm, Global Citizenship Education Officer, at the Global Leadership Summit, organized by the Global Education Conference Network, iEARN-USA, and World Savvy and sponsored by IIE and Participate. Ms. Wilhelm spoke on a panel with the theme "Understanding and Educating for Global Citizenship."

As a part of Global Leadership Week, a weeklong convening of virtual and face to face events designed to celebrate leadership through global action in K20 education, the Global Leadership Summit engages leaders and practitioners in global education who are seeking innovative methods, opportunities for collaboration, and inspiration in relation to the global education movement.
