WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2014

NEW YORK – The Friends of WFUNA Board of Directors convened for its 21st board meeting on Wednesday, October 15. We are happy to announce that Ms. Marilyn Haft, who served as Interim President since April 2014, is now serving as President of the board. Ambassador vanden Heuvel, who served as President of the board since 2001, stepped down from his role in April 2014 but has stayed on as a director. We are grateful for Ambassador vanden Heuvel’s stewardship over the years and welcome Ms. Haft as President of the board.

The board also welcomed two new directors: Ms. Carol Prendergast and Mr. Jean-Luc Meier. Both expressed their commitment and excitement in joining the WFUNA team.
