WFUNA is currently a member and supporter of several networks involving both the Responsibility to Protect and Sustainable Development.
Responsibility to Protect
International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect
The International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect (ICRtoP) brings together NGOs from all regions of the world to strengthen normative consensus for RtoP, further the understanding of the norm, push for strengthened capacities to prevent and halt genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity and mobilize NGOs to push for action to save lives in RtoP country-specific situations.
WFUNA is a member of ICRtoP and has partnered with ICRtoP to hold informational sessions on R2P.
Sustainable Development
Beyond 2015
The “Beyond 2015” Campaign is an international coalition of civil society groups and non-governmental organizations that have come together with the common goal of wanting to create and facilitate an inclusive and transparent process for the creation of the next set of Millennium Development Goals. WFUNA is proud to not only be a supporter, but be a member of the “UN Working Group”.

Global Call to Action Against Poverty
WFUNA is proud to be a supporter of The Global Call to Action against Poverty (GCAP), a coalition of groups made up of diverse interests and backgrounds that seek to end poverty and inequality. It seeks to end poverty and inequality by working to ensure that leaders from both the North and South keep their promises to their local and global communities, though open and inclusive campaigns at every level of civil society.

Responsibility to Protect
This program aims to empower civil society with a framework for, and tools to hold governments accountable in the face of genocide and mass atrocity, and mobilize public and political will for the Responsibility to Protect (R2P). WFUNA’s R2P Program launched in 2011. Read more
