The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) is an independent, nongovernmental organization established in 1946, and registered as a charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code and under Article 60 of the Swiss Civil Code.
WFUNA maintains a high level of accountability and transparency, as set forth in our Constitution and By-Laws as well as through the Guidelines for Financial Management Policy approved by the 196th WFUNA Executive Committee. Our finances and audits are prepared according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) ensuring we consistently meet best practice standards.
